ZTA podcast #17: Mindset, fighting and training with Garry Tonon.

Garry Tonon and I are going to talk about MMA today. Well with that being said I can officially welcome you to the Zero To Alpha podcast. The vision behind this podcast is pretty damn easy: there are a lot of rules in life and people seem to be lost these days. Alex is here to help you along the way to find yourself but also to find meaning in life. It doesn’t matter where you’re at in life, this podcast will help you as long as you’re willing to be open-minded and put in the work. There will be solo episodes and episodes with guests who’ve found or are still trying to find a meaning to life.

So it basically means that you should break the rules and beat the fools.

Podcast introduction: let’s talk MMA with Garry “The Lionkiller” Tonon.

Today we’re going to cover mindset, fighting, and training with Garry Tonon. Garry has a lot of achievements on his record. He’s 3-0 as a professional MMA fighter but also a Brazilian Ji Jitsu world champion who’s part of the Danaher dead squad. He was on my podcast list right from the start for a couple of reasons. I’m a big fan of his fighting style (grappling and striking) but also the way he carries himself. He’s unapologetically himself and that’s a great attitude!

This is the longest podcast recorded to date for one simple reason. Garry Tonon didn’t give me a time restriction and the I really enjoyed the podcast because I was learning a lot as well. The goal was to interview him for 45 min. The podcast ended up being almost 120 min. So enjoy the podcast and see you again on Thursday.
