What does it mean to become your own man? It’s been talked about on the internet all the time but no one that talks about it can actually define it. A quick Google search would obviously do the trick but even that is too difficult for the “men” leading the new masculinity revolution. They don’t know what it means because they’re not their own man. They’re merely cheap rip off versions of some big social media influencer.
So what does it mean? to be or become a man who is not controlled by other people or who is able to support himself without the help of other people.
The second part is obviously important, but the first part is more important to me for this post.
Becoming your own man means that you can’t be controlled by other people.
The new generation leading the way on becoming your own man?
All these accounts are very similar, they see one Tate video, copy his antics and think they’re the man. This is obviously an act because they have no actual life experience. These people are naive to say the least. But they also have no skin in the game. Imagine setting a standard for men they can’t even live up to themselves (link).
It sounds ridiculous yet it happens every day. The guys creating these accounts are lost and naive but so are the people following these accounts. So in the end, the lost try to guide the lost. I assume I don’t have to explain how that ends?
They’re just parroting each other not knowing what they say is actually true or not. In the end, they’re just part of that Matrix they’re dying to escape.
The big accounts leading the way.
There are a lot of big accounts that lead the way now and tell people how to live life. These big accounts come mostly out of nowhere and explode really fast. They’re just noise trying to distract you from what really matters. Isn’t it funny that Tate talks about escaping the Matrix yet seems to be a real life version of the character Cypher from the first Matrix movie? Escaping the Matrix through materialism, that’ll do it.
He also claims to be the most censored man on the planet yet got an exclusive interview on the BBC with Pierce Morgan. The jokes keep writing themselves.
The advice given is obviously contradictory yet people can’t see it. The fact that grown men idolize this guy while telling others to be their own man is just ridiculous. He’s like a guy in his senior year with no friends who goes to the younger kids while smoking to boost his fragile ego. Suddenly he’s cool again. At least for a bit….
Become your own man.
Don’t be a cheap copy of the next guru that comes around.
