Have you ever heard someone claim that they’re a self made? Some people claim that but those people mostly had rich parents. Rich parents are a freaking curse but most people don’t realize it. They focus on the bling-bling and forget about the rest. They just focus on the good and neglect the bad. Those people mostly don’t want to work hard while there’s nothing more addicting than hard work. So does being self-made exist? Arnold Schwarzenegger wrote the foreword for Tim Ferris his book Tools Of Titans. He claimed that he wasn’t self-made at all and that was an eye-opening vision. You see I never considered myself as self-made but most people claim that I did it all on my own. That’s not true. Nobody ever did it on his own. We’re just too blind to see it.
Self-made? Those people are lying to themselves
Most people won’t believe me but there’s not a single person in the world that did it on his own. I never considered the world self-made to describe my big change but others did. I didn’t look at it like that. Arnold opened my eyes. Suddenly I got it. We all have had help on in life but some people just don’t seem to realize it. They’re not grateful and that’s not the right mindset. You should always be grateful no matter what. I got help from books, friends, YouTube and so on. People don’t seem to realize that we have tons of resources for help. You can learn anything online these days. You didn’t figure out anything and we’re still claiming that we did it all on our own.
So why do people claim it? Because they’ve got a big ego that’s why. Some people’s ego grows at the same rate as their bank account but they’ll need to be humble again. Life will bring humbleness upon you if you’re not humble in life. You’ll have to face a lot of losses and won’t be able to cope with it. It won’t be long before you’ll act like a victim and that’s the most annoying thing that you could do. You act like a pussy and you don’t even realize it.
Conclusion
So nobody ever did it on his own? I don’t think so. Just take an honest look at all the resources that you used to get where you are today. Try to remember which people helped you on the journey. Sometimes they just help you a little bit but that made sure that you were able to get some progress. You just didn’t see the hidden trap in being proud. Pride serves the ego wherever you go and that’s something that most people don’t seem to realize.
