Are you the fool that’s chasing the cool? Don’t worry most of us made that mistake while we were young. Others still make that mistake for the rest of their lives. It’s easy to follow the herd but it won’t give you anything in return. Well, you might end up frustrated and cheated by life. My first advice to you might sound like a no brainer but many people don’t seem to get it. Stop following the herd! You really won’t gain anything from it. Let me explain.
Only a fool will chase everything cool
You’ve read it correctly: you’re a fool if you’re chasing the cool. I get it you envy the popular kids in high school/college but that won’t last forever. Those popular kids will end up doing a normal job. Do you know what’s the worst about these cool kids? They’re not confident, they’re arrogant. There’s a thin line between the two and most people don’t get it. They bring all the others down and people are afraid to stand up to them. Some people just don’t get it and those people will get dumb and dumber after a certain age since they claim that only nerds read.
I know that I once said that I was too cool for school but that was just clickbait. I don’t like the educational system but that doesn’t mean that others should drop out as well. A guy whom I train still goes to college and he’s a smart guy. I wasn’t fit for college but I’ll never claim that my way is the only way to do things. Learn to believe in yourself and stop chasing the cool. Learn to follow your gut feeling and start living again.
Don’t be cool just be you. Do what you’re afraid to do.
Let me make it clear once and for all:
Forget about the excessive clubbing
Forget about drinking and getting wasted all the time. I stopped drinking a year ago and I’m fine.
So forget about chasing the cool because it’ll make you look like a fool.
And forget about chasing girls because it’s just plain stupid.
I made all of these mistakes in the past but I wasn’t happy. I was far from happy. Being popular wasn’t cool at all, it was lonely and a depressing feeling all because I couldn’t be myself. So now you’ve got 2 options. You either learn from my mistakes or you make them and realize that I was right. You can chase the pot of gold your entire life but how long will it take before you realize that it was empty?
