You should call people out on their bullshit. I know that a lot of people will disagree with me on this one. They’ll call me a jerk but I don’t get why. I’m a nice guy. Well not a nice guy, I’m a good guy. Nice guys are the real jerks. Nice guys would never call people on their bullshit. They’re too cowardly to do that. So these people who call me a jerk, are projecting their insecurities onto me. Funny right?! What can I say? The truth hurts but it remains the truth.
Anyways I noticed that a lot of people like to bullshit themselves and even others. Honesty is a forgotten virtue these days and it’s really sad. People shy away from the truth all the time but this makes sure that they’re living in some kind of false reality. They’ll act like their whole life is all sunshine and rainbows but in reality, it’s not. Nobodies life is easy so stop acting like you have one!
Why you should call people out on their bullshit.
So why should you call people out their lies? Well because nobody gets better by it. You’ve got nothing to gain by lies from another person but the person won’t gain anything as well. You didn’t hear the truth but the other person didn’t tell the truth so in the end, you’ll be both miserable. That most suck. So call them out. It might be uncomfortable and they might call you a jerk but look at it from another perspective. Who’s the jerk here? The one that lies or the one that calls the liar out?! You’re offering those people an opportunity to grow here. How can you be a jerk if you make people better? Well, that’s easy. Because nobody likes to hear the truth. Nobody wants to hear that they’re living under their potential.
There would be a lot less cheating in this world if people were more honest. People prefer to be unhappy instead of hearing the truth.
Why you should call people out on their bullshit.
But you should call people out in a respectful way. Don’t call people a liar. They already know that they’re lying and their ego can’t handle it when they face their flaws. Ego is the anesthesia that deadens the pain of stupidity. I like this quote, to be honest. So how do you call people out then? Well, I just ask them specific questions so that they have to be honest. In this way, they save their face. I can’t take those people very seriously, to be honest.
Being honest is an adult thing to do. Enforcing other people’s stupid behavior is the dumbest thing that you could do. They’re already trying to escape reality and you’re just making it worse. The guy who’s constantly drunk and fucks around isn’t tough. He’s miserable and there’s nothing cool about it. The same goes for the girl who acts like this. My best friends would call me out if I would act like this. But that’s why they’re my best friends. They’re honest with me and that’s what it’s all about. So don’t try to sell me bullshit because I ain’t buying it.
You’ll always be the asshole so it doesn’t matter.
People won’t like you if you lie and the truth suddenly gets revealed since you lied. But they won’t like you if you tell the truth either. So people won’t like you anyways when it comes to this matter. It’s better to be true to you when it comes to this. So I just tell the truth because that’s just how I am. At the end of the day you’ve got to be able to live with yourself and I can’t imagine that people who’re not honest with themselves and others can do this.
Treat others the way you want to be treated.
Honesty, respect, and other virtues are really important to me. You won’t get along with me if you don’t respect that. You see I treat people like I want to be treated. I’m honest with them and I expect them to do the same with me. Most people want to be treated like gods but look down on others. I don’t get how you’re able to live like this. Or they kiss even worse ass. Man those people are annoying. Just be respectful and honest. It’s not a hard thing to do. Treat humans like actual humans and not like an object that you can toss around.
You might get away with it in the beginning but karma will catch up with you. You’ll feel miserable and face a lot of problems. The worst thing is that you’ll hate people who’ll tell you that you’re fucking up. What can I say: Ego is the anesthesia that deadens the pain of stupidity.
