ZTA podcast #8: some solid life advice from a 92- year old.

By | Podcast | No Comments

Are you ready to be blown away by some life advice in this podcast? The advice on itself was so damn simple but it still blew me away. The advice on itself wasn’t given to me. I never met the man personally, he died some months ago (may he rest in peace). He told it to someone else and that person told it to me and added some things from his own. So keep in mind that the person who gave the advice was 92 when he gave the advice. It was one simple sentence that consisted of 3 words. His life advice was the following: life is short. Shocking right? Let’s dive into the podcast to get some more shocking advice. Read More

You have to learn to walk away from things in life. This isn't easy but let me explain to you why you should do it. Ready to get into it?

Be the bigger man: learn to walk away.

You have to learn to walk away from things in life. This isn’t easy but let me explain to you why you should do it. So I was eating and somebody started to throw a lot of shit at me. In the past, I always reacted to it. I didn’t offend the person but I was always wondering why people can be so frustrated by life. So this time I didn’t react to it. I just took up my plate with food and walked away. The person’s reaction was priceless. The person got even angrier and asked me to come back because they weren’t done yet. But I didn’t return because why would I spend time with a person who wants to take me down? It would be a giant waste of time. But a lot of people would start to argue because their emotions get the best of them.

They basically would get into a dumb argument without even knowing what they’re arguing about. Or argue about the same things over and over again without ever coming to a solution. Which is what most people seem to do these days. Some people argue about the same things years down the road. It’s like they don’t progress at all. Read More

ZTA podcast #7: let’s talk about unhappiness.

By | Podcast | No Comments

It’s a new Monday so that means that there has to be a new Zero To Alpha podcast. In the previous podcast blog, I gave a hint about today’s topic. We’re going to talk about unhappiness and how it made me change my life. Because unhappiness can make you do 2 things. You either do great things (read more about it here) or you do some really stupid things which you regret afterward (read more about it here). There’s one thing that you should know about this podcast. I didn’t edit it because it’s not always easy to talk about this stuff. But you’ll learn a lot if you pay close attention until the end.  Read More

ZTA podcast #6: why I don’t regret my college drop- out

By | Podcast | No Comments

In this episode of the podcast, Alex will talk about his college drop- out 2 years ago. To this day on people still judge this decision but they never wonder why Alex did it. They just force their own beliefs on him. The sad part is that they never asked him if he’s really happy. It’s like they don’t even care. So let’s take a look at why he did it and he’ll share his view on the educational system as well. Alex wanted to get this out his system because too many people judge but don’t understand it at all. So shouldn’t you be curious instead of judgmental?

In the next episode, Alex will talk about how unhappiness made him turn his life around. So stay tuned for that one because he’ll share another great story from one of his training partners. Read More

ZTA podcast #5: the toxicity of social media.

By | Podcast | No Comments

It’s finally happening. The release of the fifth. Zero To Alpha podcast. Getting excited yet? The podcasts will only get better. This was an idea that had been on hold for a very long time, to be honest. The same goes for my YouTube channel. I always had a link on this blog to the YouTube channel but I didn’t upload any content. Pretty weird right? Don’t worry I’ll explain why I never uploaded a video in some podcast down the road. In this episode, I got together with my good buddy Luke from sweetmachinefitness and we talked about several interesting subjects. Read More

Episode #4: The Zero To Alpha Podcast with Alex

By | Podcast | No Comments

In this episode of the podcast, Alex will talk about the recent UFC event and the things that happened afterward. A lot of people see MMA as human cockfighting but those people miss the point completely! It’s hard to explain to people that it isn’t all about fighting but more about the journey. The martial arts journey is one the most beautiful there is and people will miss out on this if they’ll see what the media sharing. Alex wanted to get this out his system because too many people judge but don’t understand it at all. So shouldn’t you be curious instead of judgmental?

In the next episode, Alex and Luke will discuss the modern social media culture so stayed tuned for that as well. Anyways, enjoy the podcast and see you on Thursday! Read More

Episode #3 – Zero To Alpha Podcast with Alex and Vince.

By | Podcast | No Comments

In the third Zero To Alpha podcast, we’ve got a special guest. His name is Vincent Cachero. He’s an undefeated pro-MMA fighter (5-0) who currently fights in the LFA bantamweight division. This guy will be in the UFC make no mistake about it. He has an impressive mindset aside from an impressive record and that’s why I decided to invite him on the podcast. Everybody should listen to this podcast because Vince will learn you to follow your gut instead of following the path that’s laid out for you. Aside from that, you’ll have a better understanding of how an MMA fighter thinks and how he views the sport. But also how people who don’t get the sport view him and how he deals with that.

We close this podcast with an official prediction for the McGregor- Khabib fight this weekend. I mean, if this doesn’t get you excited… nothing will. Enjoy and let me know what you think in the comment section! On the side note, I might release a solo episode next week to switch things up. Read More
