Why you should follow Al Kavadlo right now.

Ever heard of Al Kavadlo? He's a YouTuber and blogger who focusses on calisthenics. The dude might not look like the biggest guy but he's really strong. So why did I decide to write this post you ask? Well, a lot of people keep on asking me how I got in shape but I'm not expert on that matter.

Ever heard of Al Kavadlo? He’s a YouTuber and blogger who focusses on calisthenics. The dude might not look like the biggest guy but he’s really strong. So why did I decide to write this post you ask? Well, a lot of people keep on asking me how I got in shape but I’m no expert on that matter and I don’t intend to be either. My main focus is on MMA right now and after that, the focus will probably shift to the blog. I did bodybuilding for quite a while as many of you might recall and I liked it until I injured myself pretty badly. I was out for 3 months and I was sick of the constant eating as well.

Eventually, I came across Al Kavadlo and I was hooked to calisthenics well until I discovered MMA of course but I still do calisthenics. So here we are and you still have no clue why you should follow him and/or his brother.

Well let’s find out, shall we?

Al Kavadlo is natural.

Most YouTubers are taking steroids but that’s not the worst thing about it. The worst thing is that they give you unrealistic expectations about what you can achieve. People go into overtraining or follow crazy workouts that’ll make them hate working out altogether. That’s why I like Al. He’s natural (probably one of the only ones on YouTube) and doesn’t give people unrealistic expectations. You might not be able to look like him because you don’t have the same genetics but you’ll have great results if you follow his advice.

Al Kavadlo keeps it simple.

There are a lot of calisthenics guys who do spinning shit on the bar these days. People are extremely impressed by those things. I mean who isn’t but they’ll mostly neglect the basics. It’s pretty hard to master a muscle up and most people would try the 360 muscle up before they even did a regular one. He still does impressive stuff though. Just check out his Instagram. He can tear a deck of cards with his bare hands, do human flags and so on. His book Street Workout (his brother Danny is the co-writer) is a great one for people who’re looking to get into calisthenics. His other books are great as well of course. Note that I didn’t get paid to write this blog.

Al Kavadlo isn’t on the supplement hype train.

A lot of fitness gurus are taking 12 powers and 13 pills a day to get huge but it’s all a scam. I followed Al’s approach when I did calisthenics. No pills or powders. I didn’t need them either. Some so many people take the pills and powders approach these days. They take pre-workout instead of trying to get a good night’s sleep. They take mass gainers instead of eating real food. Real food should always be number one. No pill or powder will ever replace quality food. It’s like I said before on this blog. Eat real food. Eat tons of veggies, eat your meat, fats, and carbs. I’m pretty sure that Al would approve it since we mostly follow the same diet approach.

The story is a little different now that I do MMA of course. Magnesium oil comes in handy after a hard session. And now I supplement with a protein shake because I demand more of my body than I used too.

Al Kavadlo has a great attitude.

What can I say? It’s true!

Make sure to follow him on YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, and his blog.

Don’t forget to check out my book. The ones who read it liked it.
